We encourage loved ones to visit patients and we make every effort to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and visitors. While receiving care, patients have the right to decide who may or may not visit, and those visitors are allowed without regard to race, color, national origin, language, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or socioeconomic status.
Visitor rules:
- Only two visitors allowed in each room at a time.
- Don't visit if you are ill.
- Please talk quietly and leave promptly when visiting hours have ended.
- Wash hands or use sanitizer before entering and upon leaving patient's room.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. Do not leave children in the care of a patient.
- Do not use patient bathrooms. Public restrooms are conveniently located throughout the hospital.
- Do not sit, lie or sleep on either the patient's bed or the unoccupied bed, except for parents staying with a child under 12 years.
Patient information access
Each patient is assigned a three-digit pass code. This pass code is used when family members want to check in on the patient's progress. It is up to the patient or the patient's immediate family to share the code with others.
Designate one member of the family as the point person or contact for the doctor and nurse. This will allow the nurse to spend more time with the patient and less time on the phone with different family members.
Visiting hours
After visiting hours are over, the only visitor access will be through the Emergency Room's (ER) main entrance. Authorized visitors wishing to visit patients staying overnight in the hospital will be requested to complete the login sheet and present proper identification before access is available to patient care areas.
