Credentialing Support Staff-PRN
Provides administrative support to the CNO and nursing leadership and performs diversified nursing administrative functions.
Assists with implementation of the credentialing/privileging process. Assists in compliance with the accrediting and regulatory agencies (i.e., TJC, NCQA, URAC) in regards to credentialing while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws. Ensures that all expirables are reviewed, obtained and managed on a monthly basis according to the rules and policies. Assists in managing the flow of information between the physician recruitment, Credentials and MEC Committee members, Medical Staff Leadership (including the service, department and section chairpersons) and the Chief Nursing Officer.
Provides technical and clerical assistance to facilitate effective and efficient operation of the provider credentialing function. Maintains data on credentials of current staff. Tracks and reports performance measures according to credentialing requirements.
