SUMMARY: Serves as the release of health information clerk responsible for all mail-in/faxed/phoned/walk-in requests for patient health information for the facility. Analyzes each request for completion and accuracy and prepares the requested copies and packages for distribution. Also serves as the facility’s birth certificate registrar coordinating with the OB department the timely submission of the newborn birth certificate to the Kansas Department of Vital Statistics.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: One to three years related experience and/or training. Computer keyboard experience required. Knowledge of state and federal privacy regulations preferred.
