Description:
The role includes assisting with food preparation, meal service, cleaning, and other related tasks across different areas including cooking, dietary aide responsibilities, salad bar maintenance, cashiering, and customer service. This position provides exposure to multiple facets of foodservice operations and is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepares meals, salads, and sandwich bar items according to menu and safety standards; supports breakfast and catering prep.

Assembles and delivers patient trays, operates dish machines, and maintains cleanliness in meal service areas.

Supports café service, runs POS systems, restocks stations, and assists with baked goods and beverage areas.

Maintains hygiene, temperature control, and storage standards; complies with all food safety regulations.

Helps with receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and ensuring accurate inventory rotation and usage.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Prior experience in food service, but not required.

Knowledge of basic food preparation, safety, and sanitation practices.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
