Summary: Assures that clinical requirements are met and sustained by Labette Health’s Food and Nutrition Department. Responsible for performing/overseeing the nutritional assessments on all inpatients with the development and implementation of care plans, patient education, staff and medical staff communication. Works in conjunction with Food & Nutrition’s Operation Manager to assure that duties of departmental staff are accomplished. The Registered Dietitian will be actively involved in all the clinical aspects of Labette Health’s DSME program, Diabetic education and any other nutritional related education of Labette Health.

Education Requirements: Bachelor of science degree or equivalent in the dietics and institutional management. Kansas Licensed Registered Dietician required.
