Summary:
Responsible for successful management, operations and overall success of a full service outpatient wound care facility. Responsibilities include operations, personnel, budgets, reimbursement; quality management; marketing and sales; internal coordination with hospital staff; treatment outcomes. Also provides professional clinical care for out-patient wound care patients according to established procedures and within the scope of nursing practice.
Education Requirements:
Diploma in nursing, associate's degree (A.D.) form two-year college or Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a four year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas. Three years of comprehensive supervisory and management experience in a health care setting preferred. Knowledge of and experience in evaluation and treatment of wound and skin disorders.
