Position Summary
The Outpatient Surgery Aide plays an important role in supporting the surgical services team by assisting patients and staff before and after outpatient procedures. This role involves preparing, transporting patients, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, transport, and assist patients in the outpatient surgery department

• Stock and maintain supplies, equipment, and linens

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and comfort needs

• Support patient discharge processes as directed

• Follow all infection prevention and safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous healthcare or aide experience preferred (CNA certification a plus)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients throughout shift

• Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented

Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time position with day shift hours (no nights, weekends or major holidays)
