SUMMARY
-
Supports all computers and associated equipment.

Supports development and production activities of information systems.

Is the desktop systems expert contributing to the day-to-day management of the desktop computing environment.

Responsible for the desktop management practice including (but not limited to): maximizing uptime for business and clinical users & applications; developing enterprise-wide standards; and keeping current with IT technology; maintaining end-user computing hardware and coordinating warranty service with vendors.

Contributes to and maintains departmental processes and procedures, develops and distributes documentation and training materials, and collaborates with IT peers to improve processes.

Creates security access for end-users.

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting problems over the phone, remotely, or in person.

Responsible for Equipment Management and deployment.

Develops and maintains electronic reporting tools. Assists in creation of end user reports and conducting data base searches.

Provides support for interfaces and interface engine.
-
Train under network administrator to provide back up support for telephone and VOIP systems, including communication infrastructure and server based systems.
Education Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field required. Combination of education and experience will be considered. Previous IT and/or computer hardware and software experience a plus.
