Description:

Summary: The HR Administrative Assistant provides support to the HR Specialist and HR Director as needed including, but not limited to:

  • Answering phones, greeting and providing assistance to all customers that need Human Resource services.
  • Processes and provides a variety of critical information for staff including applications, transfer sheets, enrollment forms, and other confidential forms.
  • Assists in scheduling appointments and interviews as needed
  • Check new hire references
  • Coordinate and schedule New Hire process
  • Prepare hire and orientation packets as needed
  • Coordinate orientation by managing scheduled speakers
  • Build employee personnel and health files
  • Ensure day to day filing and scanning is kept up.
  • Assist in completing and maintaining file audits
  • Follow up with managers and employees on items missing from file
  • Plan hospital events and morale boosters
  • Book employee education reservations as needed

Education Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a file clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong customer service skills a must
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
