Summary: Manages the OB Department and all staff members to ensure that quality patient care is provided. Directly supervises all employees in the OB Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; regarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education/Experience: Associate's degree (A.D.) from two-year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum which has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a four year college preferred or be willing to obtain. Two years of experience or more preferred.
