Systems Support Analyst
Summary: Collaborates with department leaders across the health system to facilitate the achievement of the Labette IT organization’s vision and strategy for the effective use and application of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and technology to positively influence health care delivery, patient care outcomes, promote quality initiatives and make efficient use of resources.
Compliance with Labette Health’s Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule policies and procedures is a condition of continued employment for all employees. An individual performing the position described herein shall be permitted access to protected health information as necessary to perform his/her job duties. An individual shall not attempt to access any other protected health information created or maintained by Labette Health.
This position serves the overall development, implementation, education, and day-to-day support needs of the EHR and is the primary support for providers and clinical users. This includes all EHR systems that contribute to the Medical Record. Provide support and coordination for education to ensure all users are utilizing systems correctly, adequately, and to the highest optimal level. This position is responsible for helping realize, implement & achieve the potential of the EHR software to meet all initiatives relating to quality and/or reimbursement.
Provides support to help desk. Participates in other IT department tasks as assigned.
Education Requirements: Electronic clinical documentation experience with CPSI of a minimum of 2 years. Clinical experience preferred.
