SUMMARY:

The Ambulatory EHR Administrator will be responsible for the overall implementation, training, orientation, maintenance and on-going operational support of our ambulatory Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in all clinic locations. Provides support to hospital EHR system, help desk, and technical support. Participation in IT department on call rotation required.

This position will be largely responsible for helping realize, implement & achieve the potential of the EHR software to meet all initiatives relating to quality and/or reimbursement.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 year of work experience administering an Electronic Health Record system
  • 2 years of experience working in an outpatient clinic setting utilizing electronic health records
  • On-going education and development of technical and professional skills will be necessary with this position to keep current with the evolving information technology industry.
