Summary:Assists the physician by performing assessments, vitals under the direction of an RN as needed. Answers telephone, schedules appointments, greets and assists patients and public as necessary, compiles all charge tickets and receipts, and obtains insurance cards. Must have excellent customer service skills.
Education Requirements: Clinic experience. Public relations skills, computer skills, coding and medical terminology preferred. Must have a positive attitude, be helpful to patients and their families, must be willing to give excellence. Evidence of being able to work as a team, under close supervision and follow instructions as needed, completion of on the job training required. CMA certification preferred. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
