Patient and Visitor Policies

As we continue taking actions to further protect the safety and health of our patients, staff and visitors - we will communicate updates as soon as we can.

The main entrance to the hospital will be locked and the following patient/visitor guidelines will be in effect:

ALL visitors and patients (with the exception of scheduled surgical patients) are required to enter through the Emergency Room entrance.

  • Upon entry, you will be greeted by staff.

  • You will be asked a few health screening questions.

  • Your temperature will be taken.

  • You will be given a visitor badge that is to be worn throughout your visit.

  • Visitors of admitted patients will be given a pink ID band upon arrival to the nursing floor of patient’s room.

  • Only TWO designated visitors will be allowed per patient throughout the patient’s stay.

  • Visiting hours are currently 7am-8:30pm.

ALL SURGERY PATIENTS

Upon arrival, please have your driver drop you off in the back entrance of the hospital (please look for signage).

  • You will be greeted by staff and will register in this area.

  • Drivers: This is patient drop off only. Please proceed to the front parking lot and enter through the Emergency Room entrance.

*These processes may change as we continue following guidelines and recommendations received from Center for Disease Control and Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
