Volunteers

The role of the Labette Health volunteer is to provide services that exemplify compassion, respect and caring for our patients and their families and visitors. Your contribution of time and caring helps make the hospital a better place for our community. In addition to the satisfaction you receive knowing you made someone's day a bit brighter, your contribution helps keep health care costs low. Our volunteers donate thousands of combined hours per year. Giving back in this way is invaluable to us, and our volunteers say the experience gives back in ways never imagined.

Volunteers

Put your valuable skills to work and give yourself the opportunity to learn something new. You can choose a physically active position, take charge behind an information desk, work directly with patients, or stay within an office or gift shop environment. The choice is yours.

Auxiliary Scholarship Program

The scholarship program, established by the Labette Health Auxiliary, is a program of financial assistance granted to college students who are in pursuit of training/education in a health care field. Application deadline is June 15, 2014. Download an auxiliary scholarship application.
