Area patients recovering from cardiac
disease or surgery can receive important follow-up rehabilitation
services closer to home with our Cardiac Rehabilitation
Center.
Patients will follow a progressive, monitored
exercise program and receive important education on diet,
exercise, smoking cessation, and stress management. They
will learn more about their disease, risk factors and life
style modification. The ultimate goal of Labette Health's
Cardiac Rehabilitation is to return patients to normal
activity and to improve and enhance the patient's quality
of life.
Regardless of where patients have been
hospitalized or had surgery, they can be enrolled in the
rehabilitation program at Labette Health. Cardiac patients
should contact their physicians about referrals to Labette
Health's Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.
