Labette Health Welcomes Obstetrician/Gynecologist Javine Horani, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

PARSONS, Kan., March 10, 2010 – Javine Horani, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, has joined Labette Health and is now seeing patients.

Dr. Horani has been in private practice in Colorado Springs, Colo., since 2006. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City after receiving her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. As a medical student, she was student president, regent and secretary of the student senate. She graduated summa cum laude from UNO with a bachelor’s degree in general management and small-business entrepreneurship.

Dr. Horani and her husband, Scott McLaughlin, have two children, Kian, 3, and JeanLuc, 1. Her interests include running, skiing, figure skating, hiking, camping, reading, cooking and gardening.
