Reception Welcomes

New Labette Health CEO

PARSONS, Kan., Aug. 25, 2010 – Labette Health introduced Jodi Schmidt, its new president and chief executive officer, during a public reception in the hospital’s main entrance.

Schmidt, who began work at Labette Health August 23, comes to Parsons from Hays, Kan., where she was chief development officer at the 207-bed Hays Medical Center and director of Hays Med’s Critical Access Hospital Network.

Her arrival concludes a nationwide search that began in January, attracted 108 applicants and involved a selection committee of more than 30 Labette Health trustees, employees, medical staff and members of the community.

Jodi Schmidt was introduced by Board of Trustees President Vince Schibi.
