Labette Health recently acquired the latest
technology available for use in interpretation of mammography
studies. The R2 "ImageChecker" will be used to
take a 2nd look at most mammography studies. The Radiologist
reads the films after these are scanned into a computer
system. The ImageChecker software then analyzes the films
and indicates areas which might be of interest to the Radiologist.
Use of this technology has shown a 15% increase in the
accuracy of mammography interpretations.
