Today, with the high cost of new life-saving technologies, decreased government spending, required nurse to patient ratios, building renovations and an aging population in our community, your financial assistance is greatly needed.

    For a not-for-profit, rural hospital like Labette Health, increased philanthropic contributions are essential to helping maintain the latest technology, quality facilities, and excellence in programs and services that make this hospital a leader in the regional four state area.

    Once thought to be only for the large Metropolitan mega-bed hospitals with their own billion dollar endowments, hospitals the size of Labette Health, and even smaller, are now turning to their Foundations to fund special needs.

    Labette Health Foundation actively seeks donations from individuals and businesses like you to support our continued efforts to build a healthier future for you, your family, and our community.

    Since Labette Health opened its doors, it has been a source of healing to the people of the region. The loving care shown to our patients is evidenced by the recent growth in number of patients, and additional physicians wanting to practice in Parsons, Kansas.

     The Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation organized under the laws of the State of Kansas to solicit, receive, hold, manage, and invest funds primarily for Labette Health. On behalf of the Medical Center, the Foundation may act as executor, administrator, trustee, or otherwise assist donors in facilitating charitable gifts.
                   

    It is through the participation of each of us that existing programs will be expanded, new programs established, and equipment updated to meet the needs of the people of Southeast Kansas.
