Relief positions may be filled by departments as needed, with Administrative approval.

The following PART TIME/FULL TIME positions are currently available and may be filled at anytime:

 

Health Information Management
Coder: Full Time (40 hours)

Assigns diagnostic and procedure codes to inpatient and outpatient records while at the same time creates consistency and efficiency in inpatient and outpatient coding and data collection to optimize DRG and APC reimbursement and required Federal & State reporting. Facilitates data quality in hospital inpatient and outpatient documentation.
1. Possess audit skills for coding quality and compliance.
2. Knowledge of ancillary testing/outpatient procedures (laboratory, x-ray, EKG, etc.) as they are related to hard coding and/or Charge-Master coding.
3. Expert knowledge of national coding guidelines and practices to include ICD-10-CM as applicable.
4. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
5. Broad knowledge of pharmacology indications for drug usage and related adverse reactions.
6. Experience and competency with the computer, keyboard and Internet Skills as well as encoding systems.
7. Detail oriented, analytical.
8. Strong process improvement skills.
9. Strong customer service and communication skills.

Facilities Management
Groundskeeper: Full Time (40 hours)

Maintains grounds by performing such duties as cutting grass and trimming trees and shrubs. Maintains and repairs fire alarm systems, boilers, safety switches, electrical equipment, plumbing, and other types of equipment as per established procedure.
Education Requirements: Related experience or training. Completion of on the job training required.

Nursing ER
Registered Nurse: Relief (varied hours)

Summary: Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital, nursing home, infirmary, or similar health care facility by performing the following duties.
Education Requirements: Diploma in Nursing, Associates Degree from two year college of Bachelors Degree from a four year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas and gives evidence of possessing the experience of a licensed nurse on a staff level. Preferably has at least one year of successful practice in nursing and has previous critical care related nursing experience. Must be certified in BCLS, ACLS within 1 year, PALS and Trauma Nursing Core Course within 2 years.

Home Health
Registered Nurse: Part Time (32 hours)

Summary: Provides skilled professional nursing care to the client in a home care setting as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations as established by the State Board of Registered Nursing, the client and the policies of the organization.
Education Requirements: Diploma in nursing, associate's degree (A.D.N.) from two-year college or Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N.) from a four year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas and gives evidence of possessing the experience of a licensed nurse on a staff level.

Rehab
Receptionist: Temporary (20-30 hours)

Summary: Manages daily departmental activities by coordinating patient schedules, performing routine Quality Improvement tasks, and organizing patient records to meet facility and accreditation requirements.
Education Requirements: On the job training required. Must have typing and computer experience.

Finance
Accounts Payable Clerk: Full Time (40 hours)

Summary: Implements details of a computer generated accounts payable by performing the following duties. Processes accounts payable distribution of accounts payable invoices to appropriate department directors, verifying invoices to receiving reports or direct purchase requisitions, computing discounts, and preparing invoices for payment. Investigates statement amounts. Prints checks and files paid invoices.
Education Requirements: Previous experience with accounts payable is highly desirable.

Radiology
Radiology Technologist: Full Time (36 hours)

Summary: Provides Radiology services to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established standards, practices, and protocols.
Education Requirements: Current Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License as a Radiology Technologist. Current or eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Clinic Physiatry
RN, LPN or CMA: Part Time (12 hours)

Summary: Assists the physician by performing nursing assessments, treatments and by instructing all patients as needed.
Education Requirements: Associate's degree (A.D.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Current Kansas license of RN or LPN. Or Certificate from Accredited Medical Assisting Program.

Surgery
Scrub RN/Scrub Tech: Full Time (40 hours)

Summary: Anticipate needs of surgeons during all surgical procedures in regards to handling of instruments, supplies, and the use of equipment utilized during all surgical procedures.
Education Requirements: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or Current Kansas RN license. BCLS required.

CIO
Summary: Acts as a resource and provides overall leadership for the successful development implementation, management of Information,
technology systems and employees. Recognizes new developments in information systems technology and anticipates organizational
modifications. Demonstrates confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information and intellectual property.
Functions as top-level contact to assist end users in determining requirements and solutions. Administer the operations of Information
Technology and Services in terms of budget, planning, program/project development, hardware/software standardization, regulatory
mandates and policy and procedure implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training and Experience:
This position requires 10 years of progressive healthcare information systems experience including budgetary, project management, and strategic planning experience, and at least five years in a leadership role in a hospital setting. Also, the incumbent should possess a track record of excellence and a strong desire to drive change toward the integrated system. The successful candidate should have had progressively more responsibility in managing information-based projects preferably in health care, including a demonstrated track record of accomplishing regulatory changes. The successful candidate should possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Computer Science or Business/Management, or equivalent training, experience and education. A Masters degree in Business or Computer Science or Hospital Administration is desirable.
