The following PART TIME/FULL TIME positions are currently available and may be filled at anytime:
Rehab Services
Daycare Provider:
Part Time (10-20 hrs) Varied
Part Time (10-20 hrs) Varied
This position requires positive interaction with parents/caregivers and children ages 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Requires planning and providing a safe and fun environment for children in a drop-off daycare environment with a 2 hour time limit. Requires the ability to provide age-appropriate activities with the emphasis on healthy choices and fitness. Required to assist children with toileting and/or diaper change. May be required to feed small children. Evidence of being able to work as a member of a team, under close supervision and follow instructions needed, and completion of on the job training required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience working with young children and displays positive communication skills. Computer skills preferred. Basic life support certification and first aid certification required.
Occupational Therapist/COTA: Part-Time (24 hrs)
Plans and implements OT programs to facilitate rehabilitation of the physically handicapped. Directs patient participation in selected tasks and exercises to restore, reinforce and enhance performance. Registered Occupational Therapist licensed in the state of Kansas.
Nursing
Registered Nurse:
Relief – Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency Room
Provides professional nursing care for medical and surgical patients according to established procedures. Diploma in nursing, associate's degree (A.D.N.) from two-year college or Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N.) from a four year college and successful completion of a prescribed curriculum of study which has led to licensure as a Registered Nurse in Kansas and gives evidence of possessing the experience of a licensed nurse on a staff level.
Cert Nurse Assistant:
Full-Time (36 hrs) 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Part-Time (12 hrs) 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Provides basic nursing care to patients, under direct supervision. Evidence of being able to work as a team, under close supervision and follow instructions needed, completion of two weeks on the job training required and CNA certification is required for the skilled nursing unit.
Food & Nutrition
Dietary Aide:
Relief
Assures delivery of quality food and nutrition services to patients, visitors and staff by performing the essential duties and responsibilities. Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
Radiology
Ultrasound Technician: Full Time (40 hrs)
Perform a wide variety of ultrasound duties of technical nature requiring analysis and judgment to perform procedures in a safe and effective manner that is consistent with hospital and Imaging Services Department policies and procedures. Possess and demonstrate extensive skill and knowledge of ultrasound procedures. ARDMS preferred or ARRT US required. Have been trained in US and/or possess the working knowledge of US scanning.
Information Technology
Help Desk Support Technician: Full Time (40 hrs)
The Desktop Support Technician serves as the department coordinator & primary point of contact for HIS. Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting problems over the phone or remotely. Utilizes a work order mgmt system to track, document, report, escalate, and dispatch issues to field support. Makes contact with vendors; follows-up & communicates status to/from callers & field support; manages all aspects of the customer interaction from the time of the contact to the follow-up assessment call. Interviews callers to collect information; educates and instructs end-users; looks for trends and makes recommendations on how to provide better customer care or to improve efficiencies in departmental operations; develops a Knowledge Base. Primary job is answering incoming help requests from hospital staff via any means necessary, documenting problem details; contributing to the development of a knowledge base; attempting to resolve all help requests on first call and escalating problems to field support techs. Minimum of 2 years experience in providing desktop support in a networked Microsoft Windows Server environment. Working knowledge of Windows XP/ vista and Microsoft Office suite of products. Experience with working in Active Directory. Understanding of TCP/IP basics.
Clinic
Receptionist – Relief
Answers telephone, schedules appointments, greets and assists patients and public as necessary, compiles all charge tickets and receipts and obtains insurance cards. One to three months related experience and/or training. Good public relation skills, computer knowledge preferred.
RN/LPN/Medical Assistant: Full Time (36 hrs) – Dr. Handshy
Assists the physician by performing nursing assessments, treatments and by instructing all patients as needed. Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Current KS license of RN or LPN or Certificate from Accredited Medical Assisting Program.
